SONIC VISUALS

As a punk immigrant who adores traveling and actively engages with the punk scene, I find joy in documenting countercultural efforts internationally. I create graphics using both digital and analog mediums, often mixing both, and have designed multiple show flyers in the Bay Area's burgeoning punk and darkwave scene. As a photographer, I enjoy shooting live bands, capturing the essence of their expression and emotion during high-energy performances. The ability to freeze a moment in time and translate the elated feeling of the moment on stage or in the crowd drives me to further experiment and evolve my art, understanding what works best compositionally, situationally, and emotively. I am grateful for the punk scene as a safe space for my creative expression.
